Ok so I admit to watching KUWTK. It’s actually so entertaining and stupid at the same time. But seriously, for those KUWTK fans, is it just me or are they like always eating? I’m not sure if I just naturally notice food because I love it so much or if everyone shares my same concern… Whatever the case may be, everything they eat always looks so delicious. Kourtney Kardashian is the all natural, gluten free, organic guru of the family. After watching one-too-many episodes, I noticed that Kourtney always eats this green shake/smoothie. She briefly mentioned the ingredients in one of the shows and me, being the creep that I am, literally searched “Kourtney Kardashian’s avocado drink” on Pinterest to find the full recipe. Clearly I found it and made it for myself. It honestly was not bad at all but it was definitely difficult to finish. Also, she eats hers with a spoon and I think it would just be better with a straw. Something about eating it with a spoon made me feel like I was eating baby food and totally weirded me out. It’s not something that I could eat every day but every so often would suffice. Here is the recipe:
1 Avocado (peeled & pitted)
1 cup of milk (I used toasted coconut almond milk)
2 tbsp of sugar (I used stevia)
**If you look up the recipes, some say whole milk, almond milk, etc. But I don’t think Kourtney ever clarifies on the show so I used what I had and what I thought would taste the best. They also say that you can substitute honey for the sugar — I guess its just personal preference**
Blend ingredients together until evenly mixed. The consistency should be semi-thick. And enjoy!
